C redibility: Who is the author? What are his/her credentials? Is he/she qualified to write on this topic?

A ccuracy: Can the information be verified? Is it up to date?  What is the publication's reputation for reporting facts?

R eliability: Does the source present a bias or particular point of view? Where does the publisher fall on the bias spectrum?

R elevance: Does the information support my hypothesis or answer my question?
