Ancient China Research Guidelines 2019 - Assignment Requirements and Expectations

 

Research Paper Requirements

  • This research report must be typed using size 12 Times New Roman and doubled spaced.
  • The length of each research paper will be 3-5 pages.
  • Create a cover page with picture, your name, date and title of project.
  • Begin your report with a topic sentences to introduces your topic.
  • End your report with a concluding sentence(s).
  • Cite all references with a separate bibliography page. Plan on using at least three sources.

Mini Museum Exhibit Requirements

  • Partners will work collaboratively in creating the Ancient China museum teaching poster board and a multimedia element to the museum.
  • Remember you will work independently writing and researching your assigned topic.  Therefore, you will independently create your own investigative research questions.

Poster Board Requirements

  • Use extra large font or print neatly.  Use a ruler to help with spacing and straight lines.
  • Be creative and colorful in your presentation to catch the viewer’s attention.
  • Provide the most important facts and information about your topic.
  • Support facts with extra large visual pictures, maps, or diagrams.
  • Think about including borders to help separate information.
  • Spell-check everything and proofread

**Poster board Materials

I will provide each group with a trifold poster board and you can determine your own supplies of unique accessories. For example:  stencils, paints, borders, stickers, fabrics, 3-dimensional objects and other artistic supplies.
